Fiberglass Insulation for Home or Business

Don’t let insufficient insulation put a dent in your commercial or residential energy budget. Call Weathertight Insulation, Inc for a free estimate for fiberglass insulation installation services.

Reap the benefits of cost-effective fiberglass insulation. Among the most common forms of insulation on the market, fiberglass reduces noise, lowers energy costs, and helps to maintain ideal temperatures in your home or business throughout the year.

Types of Fiberglass Insulation

Fiberglass blankets (batts or rolls): Available in medium- and high-density varieties, fiberglass insulation has a slightly higher R-value than previous blankets. The better R-value means less air leakage, so your home or business stays warm during the winter and cool throughout the summer. A denser product like this is ideal for buildings with little space for insulating.

Fiberglass loose-fill: Manufactured from molten glass, which is spun or blown into fibers, the content of this type of insulation typically includes 20 to 30 percent recycled glass. Loose-fill insulation is applied with a blower unit. Open-blow application is used in attics. Closed-cavity application is preferred for inside walls or covered attic floors.

“We had some issues with the insulation in our attic. We called Kurt at Weathertight to have them come take a look. It turns out that Weathertight had installed the original insulation (Kurt told us this – we had no idea). He came out the NEXT DAY, fixed the problem, and refused to allow us to even pay for his labor costs. He didn't have to mention that they did the original work, and could have easily gotten away with charging us full price. I wouldn't hesitate to call Kurt and his team again. He truly cares about how he and his business treat customers.”
